ENImplementation of the Study Programme of Music Education is an important process that cultivates a competitive music teacher. Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences, as an institution that educates professional teachers in Lithuania, implements study programmes that train music teachers. The aim of the research is to reveal the analysis of the content of music teacher education programme highlighting the attitude of foreign and Lithuanian students and teachers. The research shows that the majority of subjects in the curriculum are regarded as very important by the majority of Chinese and Lithuanian students. During the Bachelor's studies most students gain the professional level of abilities in the practical application of music education content and the management of music education process. Likewise, Chinese and Lithuanian teachers highlight Performance Subjects and Pedagogical Subjects combined with Teaching Practice and they refer to the importance of Music Technology nowadays. Moreover, music teachers indicate that Teaching Practice is very important for a future music teacher, because it is a process that transfers theoretical knowledge into practical teaching.
