Tarp tikėjimo ir proto: protestantiškoji teologija modernybės laikais

LTPasiremiant iškiliausių protestantiškosios teologijos atstovų Schleiermacherio, Bartho, Bultmanno, Tillicho teologijos konceptais, nagrinėjamas proto ir tikėjimo santykis, nuo XIX a. išryškėjęs kaip esminė krikščionybės ir modernybės santykio problema. Atsižvelgiant į istorinį ir kultūrinį kontekstą, straipsnyje apžvelgiama šio santykio raida, suskirstant ją į tris tarpsnius: sintezės su kultūra XIX a., teologiją grindžiant antropocentriškai; atsiribojimo nuo kultūros XX a. pirmoje pusėje, iškeliant teocentrizmą; ieškojimo vaisingo dialogo su postmodernybės kultūra XX a. antroje pusėje, bandant suderinti protą ir tikėjimą. Analizuojant racionalumo ir religingumo santykio problematiką prieinama išvada, kad protas ir tikėjimas ne vienas kitą neigia, bet vienas kitą papildo ir pagrindžia. Postmodernybės kontekste teologija nebegali pretenduoti į tiesos monopolį, todėl turi atsisakyti pretenzijų į teisingumo kriterijų, kuris visada grindžiamas jos pačios teologinėmis prielaidomis. Vietoje to atrandama, kad efektyvesnis ir prasmingesnis yra teologijos veiksmingumo kriterijus, kuriuo matuojamas realybę keičiantis Dievo Žodžio skelbimas.

ENInvoking theological concepts that were created by most outstanding representatives of Protestant theology (such as Schleiermacher, Barth, Bultmann, Tillich), this article deals with the relationship between reason and faith, that become the essential problem of the relation between Christianity and modernity since 19th century. Regarding historical and cultural context there is considered the process of this relation, dividing it into three stages: the synthesis with culture in 19th century grounding theology in anthropocentric way; dissociation from culture at the beginning of 20th century by raising teocentrism; the search for productive dialogue with postmodern culture at the end of 20th century, trying to combine reason and faith. Analysing the problematics of relationship between rationality and religiousness the author arrives at the conclusion that the reason and faith are not negating each other but are grounding and complementing instead.In the context of postmodernity theology can not pretend to the monopoly of truth any more and for this reason it has refuse any pretension to the criterion of truth that always was grounded by the presuppositions of theology itself. There is discovered instead as much more efficient and meaningful the criterion of efficacy of theology itself by which God’s word announcement that changes reality is measured.
