LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamos gyvenamųjų rajonų aplinkos aktualijos, daugiabučių namų sienų estetinė būklė. Apžvelgiami sienų atnaujinimo būdai ir galimybės optimizuojant aplinką, siekiant šiuolaikiško, modernaus, ekologiško ir ekonomiško statinio vaizdo. Analizuojami piešiniai (tapyba) ant sienų, vertikalusis želdinimas, augalų ir piešinių deriniai. Pateikiamos jų panaudojimo aplinkoje formos bei tokių sienų įrengimo privalumai ir trūkumai.

ENThis article analyzes the current novelties of the environments of the residential districts, as well as the esthetic conditions of the apartment houses walls. The attention is paid to the walls renewal methods while searching for modern ecological and economical design of a building. There are analyzed wall paintings, vertical greening, combination of paintings and plants. The article states the cons and the pros of those methods and the possibilities of their implementation.
