Summary / Abstract:

ENIn this paper we analyze the relationship between the stereotypes and identity. We argue that different ways of thinking about the Other depend on the definition of identity. Cultural logic of identity shapes a narrative of our history, emphasizes or hides some historical events. The group, collective or nation imagines the Other according to their type of identity.
