LTKiekvienoje aukštojoje, ypač techninio profilio, mokykloje turi būti realizuojami tokie mokymo ir auklėjimo siekiai ir kryptys, kurie padėtų įgyvendinti galutinius profesinius - techninius ir humanitarinius - etinius tikslus, t.y. reikiamų visuomenės pažiūrų reorientacija, nesumažinant būsimųjų inžinierių specialaus pasirengimo kokybės.

ENThe article deals with the influence of authority in the process of teaching and educating, with the role of fiction in forming spiritual climate of the society, especially in times of historical crises. The author maintains that all the teaching process should be directed towards educating an engineer - intellectual, not only instructing him to be trained as a specialist. The teachers authority and even works of fiction play an important part in it.
