Summary / Abstract:

LTNagrinėjama, kaip pedagogo profesiogramą supranta pradinių klasių mokytojai. Tris jos komponentus atitinka trys apklausos, kuriose dalyvavo 2193 respondentai. ENThe paper analyses the meaning of the concept in the teacher training process. The importance and major points of this concept have been shown. The research, where the professional model of a primary school teacher was investigated, has been carried out at Šiauliai University. It consists of three main components: professional competencies, professional purposefulness and professional training. 2.193 subjects took part in the research, mainly - primary school teachers and senior year students, prospective primary school teachers. The research showed that many primary school teachers value traditional roles of a pedagogue most - rendering of information, teaching a subject, education, consulting. It means that changes are necessary in the training of primary school teachers, which would consolidate new training tendencies and technologies. Teachers have to become active inspirers of self – training processes, qualified investigators of the surroundings, which influence learning, and catalysts of changes. [From the publication]
