2015 m. atviro telkinio Pasaulio taurės plaukimo varžybos: Vokietija ir Lietuva

LTFINA (Tarptautinė plaukimo federacija) vykdo atviro telkinio plaukimo varžybas. Jos varžybos yra vykdomos natūraliuose vandens telkiniuose: ežeruose, jūrose, vandenyne. 10 km rungtis yra olimpinių žaidynių plaukimo varžybų rungtis. Olimpinėse žaidynėse jos pradėtos vykdyti nuo 2008 m. 10 km rungtį plaukikai plaukia pasaulio čempionatuose ir pasaulio taurės varžybose. Yra dešimt Pasaulio taurės varžybų etapų. Pirmosios dažniausiai prasideda vasario mėn., paskutinės - spalio mėnesį. Darbo tikslas - nustatyti kaip 2015 m. atviro telkinio Pasaulio taurės varžybose pasirodė Vokietijos plaukia ir kodėl totokiose varžybose nedalyvauja Lietuvos plaukikai. Tyrimo metodai: pokalbiai su treneriais, literatūros šaltinių analizė, varžybų dokumentų analizė, lyginamoji duomenų analize. Tyrime nagrinėti 2015 m. Pasaulio atviro telkinio plaukikų rezultatai, nagrinėti minėtų varžybų plaukimo rezultatų protokolai, analizuotos varžybų vykdymo vietos. Tyrimo metu nustata, kaip varžybose sekėsi Vokietijos plaukikams. Daugiausiai 2015 m. Pasaulio taurės varžybose dalyvių buvo varžybose Meksikoje (75 vyrai r 69 moterys), mažiausiai - Prancūzijoje (9 plaukikai vyrai ir 8 moterys). Nemažai Vokietijos plaukikų, kurie geriausiai pasirodė 2015 m. Pasaulio taurės varžybose ir pasaulio reitinguose, užima pirmaujančias vietas atviro telkinio pasaulio reitinguose. Lietuvos plaukikai nedalyvauja atviro telkinio pasaulio taurės varžybose dėl socialinių problemų ir trenerių neskatinimo ruošti tokius plaukikus, tokių varžybų tradicijų Lietuvoje nebuvimo. 2015 m. atviro telkinio Pasaulio taurės varžybos yra populiari rungtis pasaulyje, bet ne Lietuvoje. Varžybos susideda iš 10 etapų, prasidedančių vasario mėn. ir baigiasi spalio pabaigoje.Šiose rungtyse sėkmingai dalyvauja Vokietijos plaukikai. Lietuvos plaukikai šiose varžybose nedalyvauja dėl trumpo vasaros sezono, oro ir socialinių sąlygų, trenerių nesuinteresuotumo rengti atviro telkinio plaukikų, dėl varžybų, kuriose būtų 10 km nuotolis, nebuvimo Lietuvoje, dėl tokių varžybų tradicijų nebuvimo.

ENFINA (International Swimming Federation) conducts swim competition events in swimming pools and open water bodies. The 10 km swimming competition is an Olympic event. This event was conducted for the first time in 2008. Swimmers compete in the 10 km event in World Championships and World Cup venues. There are 10 World Cup events each year. The first usually starts in February and the last in the month of October. Our work objective. To determine what kind of results were achieved by German open water swimmers in 2015 in World Cup events and why Lithuanian swimmers do not participate there in. Research methods. Discussions with swim coaches, analysis of literature sources, competition documents analysis, comparative data analysis. Research organization. We researched the 2015 world’s open water swim results, analyzed the protocols of these competition events; studied the venues and locations for these events. Results: We determined that there were 10 open water World Cup swimming events in 2015. The largest number of World Cup open water swimmers competed in events held in Mexico, (75 men and 69 women) the fewest number swam in France (9men and 8 women). As many as 9 Germans competed in the events held in Mexico, 8 German swimmers participated in the UAE. Lithuanian swimmers do not compete in the open water World Cup events. The questionnaire to Lithuanian coaches revealed and Lithuania’s Swim Federation documents confirmed that Lithuania does not have a 10 km open water competition. Lithuania does not have satisfactory weather/climate condition for open water events; it does not have a 10 km open water tradition; there is too much responsibility to the coaches and officials and the coaches are not motivated for preparing open water swimmers because open water events must be held in the summer.The summer is vacation time for the coaches. The German swimmers of the 2015 Open Water World Cup are: 1st place Christian Reichert, 7th place Jack Burnell, 20th place Andreas Washburger. Among women the best competitor in 2015 Open Water World Cup is German Isabelle Harle # place, Angela Maurer, Keri-Anne Payne, Finia Wunram are rated 4th, 8th and 20th. Conclusion. The 2015 Open Water World Cup swimming competition is a popular event world-wide but not in Lithuania. German swimmers often compete successfully in these events. Not one single Lithuanian competed in any of these Open Water World Cup events. Reasons for this were stated by Lithuanian coaches and included the following: short summer season, unsuitable climate and social conditions and coaches not initiating open water competition which would entail a 10 km distance.
