Lietuvos moksleivių laimingumas ir savivertė: pokyčiai 1994-1998 metais ir tarptautinis palyginimas

LT1994 ir 1998 m. apklausti atitinkamai 5428 ir 4513 Lietuvos moksleiviai, sudarę 11,13 ir 15 metų amžiaus grupes. Moksleiviai įvertino savo psichologinę būseną: laimingumą, vienišumą, bejėgiškumą, pasitikėjimą savimi. Taip pat nustatyta moksleivių savivertė, požiūris į savo kūno išvaizdą. Mergaitės dažniau nei berniukai teigė, kad nesijaučia laimingos. Laimingumo pojūtis siejosi su asmenybės savybėmis (geresne sveikata ir saviverte, silpnesniu vienišumo pojūčiu, retesniais psichosomatiniais nusiskundimais, kūno išvaizdos problemomis). Aukštesnė moksleivių savivertė statistiškai patikimai siejosi su geresniu moksleivių mokymusi ir geresniais santykiais su tėvais, pasitikėjimu savo jėgomis. Vienuolikamečių moksleivių savivertė buvo pati aukščiausia.

ENThe results from the survey of 1994 showed Lithuanian students to be unhappy about the qualities of their lives. The boys occupied the place before last and girls were in the last place, as compared with the other countries participating in the study. The results of 1998 showed a somehow brighter picture, in the fact that Lithuanians were more satisfied with their quality of life as they occupied a higher level as compared with other countries. Yet, they remained among those countries that were less satisfied with their quality of life. From those who participated in the study, the 11-year-olds had the highest feelings of selfesteem. As the adolescents grow, their feelings of self-esteem fall. And irrespective of age, boys had slightly higher feelings of self-esteem than girls.
