Summary / Abstract:

LTDarbe analizuojama 1998 m. ir 1999 m. spalio mėn. registruotos Pedagoginio ir Trenerių fakultetų I ir III kursų studentų laiko sąnaudos.

ENThe paper is devoted to the analysis of time distribution of 1st and 3rd year students of the Pedagogical and Coaching Faculties of the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education registeres during the month of October in the years 1998 and 1999. The data obtained indicate that the students allocated to studies 9 hours 55.5 min. per week less than provided by the curricula. The students studied 360.9±6.6 min. per day giving 21.9 per cent of the total time to independent studies. Time distribution to studies on separate days of the week was not the same. The students gave sufficient time for sleep, i. e. 112.9±6.3 min. per night and the time allocated for satisfying their cyltural needs amounted to 516,.9±6.3 min. per day. Reading press and fiction did not enjoy popularity among the students. The need for physical exercise was satisfied and largely conditioned by going in for sport with a view to improving the pedagogical and sports mastership. The fact that merely 14.4 per cent of the students did their morning exercises giving for independent sports activity but 18.4±3.1 min. per day shows insufficient encouragement for physical activity among the students. Differences in time distribution of students depended on sex, the faculty and the year the students were in.
