Рецепция идей исихазма в русских землях Великого княжества Литовского (в конце XIV - начале XV века): к постановке проблемы
ENThe article is devoted to the problem of influence and reception of hesychasm ideas in the Rus' lands of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the late 14th - early 15th century. This process is well lit in historiography in relation to the North-Eastern Rus', which cannot be said about the space of the Lithuanian Rus'. To reveal the characteristics of the hesychasm influence it is necessary to identify the carrier and sources of this process, which was Metropolitan Gregory Tsamblak and his creative heritage. The textual analysis of the author's selected works shows his close acquaintance with hesychasm from the immediate bearers of these ideas, as well as the further development and adaptation of this theological and cultural phenomenon on the Rus’ lands. In a special way this was manifested in the process of dialogue between Catholicism and Orthodoxy in the region, one of the initiators and mediators of which was also Gregory Tsamblak. In general, due to activity of the new Metropolitan of Kyiv in the domestic political and ecclesiastical action the principles of symphony and synergy of secular and ecclesiastical authorities were laid and actively applied.
