LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama prancūziškos kilmės katalikų liaudies pamaldumo praktikos Lietuvoje. Tiriama jų kilmė ir raida Lietuvoje. Nustatyta, kad iš 14-os tokių praktikų Lietuvoje 5-ios yra prancūziškos kilmės: tai Vėlinės, Švč. Mergelės Marijos rožinis, šv. Roko užtarimas, birželinės pamaldos ir Lurdo Švč. Mergelė Marija. Šios prancūziškos kilmės katalikų liaudies pamaldumo praktikos Lietuvoje yra susiformavusios istorinių, religinių ir geopolitinių įvykių kontekste.
ENModern Lithuania has been a Christian country for already more than 600 years. Mostly Lithuanian people profess Catholic or evangelic religions. Since the date of christening Lithuania was twice sacrificed to the Blessed Virgin Mary, so it is natural that Lithuania is a Catholic country and called the Land of Mary (Terra Mariana). Catholic Church liturgy, especially during reformation of the church, originated different forms and practices of the community devotion containing national undertones. Lithuanians have added to them their own religious rites suiting their sole. The Catholic Liturgy comprises of the Mass and supplementary services (practices of the community devotion that are served publicly, not during the Mass and in local language). In Lithuania they are the Hours of St. Mary the Virgin, Mourning hours, Devotional practice of Blessed Virgin Mary during the month of May, Devotional practice of Blessed Heart of Jesus during the month of June, the day for commemorating, rosary to the St. Virgin Mary and St. Jesus, the Way of Cross of 14 stations, Mournful Whining, funeral songs. Calvarias, that stand out for their uniqueness, constitute from the places, or stations, intended for praising the suffering of the Christ and Mary and that are spread in the open space and chapels of the church or cloisters with paintings and sculptures, the attendances for meditating upon their suffering and saying particular prayers, singing songs, playing musical instruments and performing certain services. There are six calvarias in Lithuania: Žemaičių, Vilniaus, Beržoro, Tytuvėnų, Mosėdžio ir Veprių. The aim of research - to determine which of them are of French genesis. The research shows, that French is the genesis of this folk devotional practices are: devotional practice of Blessed Heart of Jesus during the month of June; the day for commemorating; Rosary to the St. Virgin Mary; Blessed St. Virgin Mary of Lourdes and St. Rock intercession.The conclusions justify the work raised early research assumption, that the French genesis of folk practices of Catholic Community devotion in Lithuania are formed by historical, religious and geopolitical context.
