ENEntrepreneurship is considered to be the effective strategy for development and growth of societies. The guiding research question is as follows: What is the mezzo-level context of entrepreneurship in education sciences in the Baltic States? The aim of the research is to analyse the mezzo-level context of entrepreneurship in education sciences in the Baltic States underpinning elaboration of a new research question. Exploratory research was used for the context analysis. Interpretive paradigm was applied for data analysis and interpretation. The present empirical study was conducted in 2015. The sample involved 6 respondents who are experts in education and training from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Summarizing content analysis of the data demonstrates that the mezzo-level context analysis of higher education systems shows that the overall situation with the spread of entrepreneurship in education sciences in higher education in the Baltic countries is generally very weak. The novelty of the present contribution is elaborated in the newly formulated research question.
