Summary / Abstract:

ENThis article deals with formal requirements, which are necessary on purpose to get assistance from Structural Funds of European Union. European Union structural policy is realized via four Structural Funds: European Regional Development Fund, European Agriculture Guidance and Guarantee Fund, European Social Fund and Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance. These Funds support only specific projects of EU member states, according three underlying objectives, so projects from member states must satisfy requirements and objectives, which arc provided in programs of Structural Funds. The Structural Funds only supplement national or regional financing. This means that no programmes are ever totally covered by the European Union budget, and that there must be always national co-financing from either the public or the private sector.
