Summary / Abstract:

ENThe main aim of educational practice development is the achievement of better results with lower work input. With this purpose, learning motives become of great importance. Preconditions for forming a positive learning motivation lie both in development interaction and in the content of the subject taught. A positiye learning motivation is influenced by changes in the forms of activities which, in the natural sciences educational practice, are guaranteed by tasks different in forms of performance. From the point of view of the form of performance, both physics and chemistry tasks were divided in the following way: tasks-problems, tasks-questions, tasks-tests, tasks-experiments and tasks- crossword puzzles. An investigation has been carried out to find out what types of physics and chemistry tasks pupils are mostly interested in. The rated indices of the task popularity point to the fact that the pupils accepted the tasks of different subjects (physics and chemistry) in a similar way. The most attractive tasks were experiment - and crossword puzzle - type tasks. At the same time, boys showed more interest in experiment - type tasks than girls. Question - and problem - type tasks have the lowest popularity index. Key words: task-problem, task-question, task-test, task-experiment, task-crossword puzzle.
