ENThe article aims to analyse "left/right" distinction in Lithuanian political life, to disclose its origin and modification during the period of post-communist changes. The author argues that political processes in Lithuania are conditioned by the legacy of soviet totalitarian regime and Lithuanian political parties are on the way of formation and search for identity. The Lithuanian political "right" is viewed like the constellation of three different projects to create a new society: patriotic, liberal and Christian. All these projects are discussed in the article in order to answer the question - can we find the shared values, which are able to serve as the solid ground for the common political project of Lithuanian right-wing parties. The author suggests that there are many similarities as well differences among various right-wing parties, so it is more likely to expect the close cooperation between patriotic and Christian projects, as well the cooperation of various liberal organizations than the formation of one uniform political power in the right-wing.
