LTStraipsnyje pristatoma atlikto pradinių klasių mokinių tyrimo rezultatai, kurie parodė, kad jaunesniojo mokyklinio amžiaus vaikai nėra pakankamai saugūs mokykloje, nemažai jų patiria įvairias patyčias, tiesiogiai ar netiesiogiai yra patyčių dalyviai. Mokinių savijauta patyčių metu dažniausia yra neigiama: vaikams pasikeičia nuotaika, apima liūdesys, jie blogai jaučiasi, verkia, nebenori eiti į mokyklą, jaučiasi bejėgiai.

ENNowadays, different types of constraint are widely spread among pupils and bullying is the most popular one. Community and scientists pay close attention to bullying that appears among senior pupils, however, bullying exists even in primary school. That is why the research of bullying phenomenon and its analysis in the initial education stage are essential in order to prevent this phenomenon and stop the spread of bullying among senior pupils. Qualitative and quantitative research results show, that bullying exists at schools quite often and do not feel totally safe there. According to the respondents, bullying at school occurs in various forms. For example, most usually pupils push, fight, put indignities upon each other, laugh at each other or talk scandal. Furthermore, there are different places at school like classes, a schoolyard, and a corridor. Pupils arc often bullied in the canteen or gym. However, most often bullying occurs in corridors during breaks. Pupils state that a person’s character is the most influential of all. What is more, pupils sneer at each other because of their messiness, location or even study results. Pupils who participated in this survey state that their classmates, senior pupils, or foreign-bom pupils usually despise them. The sequences of bullying might be the following: pupils become sad and helpless, they out of sorts, they cry a lot and they even do not want to go to school.
