Patyčių paplitimas tarp Šiaulių miesto bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų mokinių

LTŽiniasklaidoje vis dažniau aptinkama įvairių pranešimų, nušviečiančių žiaurius patyčių atvejus Lietuvos ugdymo įstaigose. Įvairių Lietuvoje atliktų apklausų (Povilaitis, Valiukevičiūtė, 2006 ir kt.) duomenys rodo, kad patyčios mokyklose tapo kasdienybė, tarsi tam tikra „gyvenimo norma“. Šiame straipsnyje pateikiama patyčių reiškinio paplitimo Šiaulių miesto bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų mokinių nuomonės analizė, atskleidžianti šios problemos paplitimo mastą, klasės ir lyties aspektu, dominuojančias patyčių formas, vietas, kuriose mokiniai dažniausia susiduria su bendraamžių tyčiojimusi bei mokinių reakciją ir elgesį patyčių situacijos melu. Atlikto tyrimo rezultatai leidžia teigti, kad patyčios šio miesto ugdymo įstaigose - plačiai paplitęs reiškinys. Tyrimo duomenys rodo, kad neatidėliotinai reikia imtis kryptingos patyčių raišką mažinančios veiklos. ENSchool bullying is a widespread complex social cultural phenomenon. Public too little knows about the problem of bullying, existing in the Lithuanian educational institutions no true extent of this spread can be imagined. Bullying is a deliberate, unprovoked, repetitive negative behaviour of one or more persons directed against a weaker person. Distinction is made between direct and indirect, verbal and written, physical and multiple fonus of bullying. The rapid development in information technology reveals a new form of bullying, online bullying. Whatever the fonn of school bullying is, there is no doubt that it causes a lot of negative short-and long-tenn consequences for both bullying vidinis and their abusers. Bullying among schoolchildren in Šiauliai secondary schools is a widespread phenomenon. Nearly one of two 5-9 grade students at least once evety two months at school faces peers’ bullying. Slightly more boys than girls are victims and promoters of bullying. The sixth and seventh grade children frequently face with other students bullying. Slander, dubbing, teasing are the most prevalent forms of bullying among students. Corridors, school yard and other area is the main place where children face the most ridicule. The study found that students, having faced with peer bullyiug, usually try to demonstrate that it does not bother them at all or answer their abusers in the same manner. [From the publication]
