Papildomojo ugdymo būklė Šiaulių miesto mokyklų pradinėse klasėse
Summary / Abstract:

ENSupport teaching can be defined as a part of long life learning, mainly directed to the development of intellectual, technical, artistic, social and other abilities. Statistics indicate that 383 groups of extra curricular activities were established during the years 1998 and 1999. While, during 2000 and 2001 the number decreased twice, i. e. 183 classes of extra curricular activities were set up. Many pupils who were inclined to offend against the weaker pupils, were involved in the extra curricular activity. The purpose was to minimize the percentage of juvenile delinquency. According to the data of our survey, the decline in the numbers of extra curricular activities resulted in the increase of delinquency. We make a conclusion that pupils do not offend if they are exposed to proper stimulation that might arouse their curiosity for studying and provide incentive for different activities. Moreover, this can support and improve child’s socialization in a democratic society.
