Trys lietuvių teatro "Milžino paunksmės"

LTStraipsnyje aptariami trys B. Sruogos pjeses ,,Milžino paunksnė“ pastatymai: 1934 m. Jaunųjų teatre pastatytas A. Olekos-Žilinsko, 1974 m. Klaipėdos dramos teatre – P. Gaidžio, 1979 m. Vilniaus akademiniame dramos teatre – K. Kymantaitės. Analizuojant sceninį pjesės likimą, keliama lietuvių teatro ir nacionalinės klasikos santykio problema. Interpretacijos ypatumų analizei pasitelkiamos lenkų teatro istorijos paralelės, padedančios išryškinti lietuvišką nacionalinės klasikos statymo specifiką. ENThe article gives an overview of scenic destiny of the play “Milžino paunksmė” (“Shade of the Giant”) written by Balys Sruoga and staged three times – in 1934, 1974 and 1979. The analysis of scenic interpretation of this one of the main texts in Lithuanian drama's history is associated with the problems of relationships between national drama and Lithuanian theatre which seems to be non-organic. In comparison with polish theatre where the evident tradition of interpretation of national classic is being formed, Lithuanian theatre seems to be out of the task to organise the style of national classic's life at the stage. The not-formed tradition of scenic interpretation of national classic is bound up with the fact that there was not been founded direction school for a long time in Lithuania and natural contact between theatre's people and national drama could not spring up.
