LTTai pažintis su Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo nario dr. Kazio Bobelio parlamentine veikla, jo kalbomis, pareiškimais Seimo plenariniuose posėdžiuose. Tų pasisakymų – pranešimų, paklausimų, replikų – per keturiolika parlamentinės veiklos metų buvo daugiau nei keturi šimtai. Iš Seimo stenogramų į šią knygą perkelti ir sistemingai pateikiami jie, kaip autentiškas dokumentas ir išsamus žinių šaltinis, padeda geriau suvokti ir apibūdinti šios asmenybės fenomeną. ENThe book is dedicated to commemorate the Centennial of the restored Lithuania The second profession of the book hero, medical doctor Kazys Bobelis was that of an active socialist and politician who was characterised by a non-compromising struggle for the liberation of occupied Lithuania (from 1969 to 1979 as chairman of the American Lithuanian Council, from 1979 to 1992 as chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Liberation of Lithuania), and after liberation, for the restoration of independent Lithuania by choosing the future of a modern, prosperous European state (the works of him as an elected representative of the nation at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania from 1992 to 2006). Dr K. Bobelis' long-term patriotic, political and social activities are inseparable from significant state-developing works, thus being worthy of commemorating alongside other state-honoured personalities in the context of the centennial of the restoration of historical independence. Statute of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania stipulates that an elected Member of the Seimas shall acquire all of the rights of a representative of the Nation only upon taking the oath of loyalty to the Republic of Lithuania at a Seimas sitting.
