Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje aptartas matematinių programų SMath Studio ir Mathcad taikymo informacinių technologijų pagrindų mokyme poreikis ir galimybės. Išanalizuotas laisvai platinamos programos SMath Studio ir komercinės programos Mathcad funkcionalumas, nustatyti jų skirtumai, privalumai bei trūkumai. Siekta įvertinti galimybę mokymo tikslais naudoti tik laisvai platinamą matematinę programą SMath Studio.

ENIn this paper the demand and opportunities of application of mathematical programs SMath Studio and Mathcad in information technology training was discussed. The functionality of freeware program SMath Studio is analyzed, the differences, advantages and disadvantages comparing to the commercial program Mathcad are identified. The aim was to evaluate the possibility of using only freeware mathematical program SMath Studio on the learning purposes.
