LTStudijų kokybė aukštosiose Lietuvos mokyklose užtikrinama taikant kokybės tikrinimą, kokybės priežiūrą, analizę ir vidinį bei išorinį vertinimą. Kauno kolegijoje taip pat atliekama vidinė veiklos analizė pagal konkrečius studijų kokybės vertinimo kriterijus. Fakulteto veiklos vertinimui reikšmingas yra ne tik dėstytojų, bet ir studentų požiūris į šiuos kriterijus. Straipsnyje pateikiamas Kauno kolegijos Technologijų fakulteto studentų požiūris į studijų kokybę analizuojant ją pagal kolegijos veiklos savianalizės kriterijus. Ieškota šių kriterijų vertinimo skirtumų priklausomai nuo lyties, kurso ir pasitenkinimo studijomis.
ENThe quality at tertiary level of Lithuanian education is usually related with the activities of schools of higher education, their results, image and acknowledgement in the public sphere. Study quality in the school of higher education is assured by applying such means as: quality control, evaluation, internal and external assessment. Not only teachers‘ but also students‘ attitude towards criteria is important in the work assessment of the whole college and the faculty. The Faculty of Technologies of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences performs an internal analysis and quality evaluation of the activities and this process is performed according to the institutionalized methodology, i.e. school activity self-assessment procedure. This technique covers certain criteria of study quality assessment in the following areas: study programmes and their implementation, management and administration of study process, support for students, pedagogical staff and qualification, participation in international programmes and applied science research, study environment (material resources), inner quality assurance of study programmes and the development of the school image. The article deals with the data gathered during the research carried out in Faculty of Technologies of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences in 2012. It was searched for these differences in evaluation criteria based on gender, course and satisfaction in studies. The analysis of the survey responses led to following conclusion: 1. Analysing the quality of higher education institution‘s activity, scientific literature highlights the role of students in evaluation system as the significant source of information. 2. Carried out research allows us to claim that Kauno kolegija UAS faculty of Technologies students' attitude towards the study quality is basically positive, gathered data can be used in self-evaluation of the faculty.Criterion factors of study process management and organization are positively evaluated by respondents, however answers allow to doubt if students know study regulations. Criterion factors of study programme and its realization are generally evaluated as good. Foreign language preparation level and variety of methods used by teachers have lower evaluation. Criterion of student support has average evaluation. Students know the best about possibilities to get a place in dormitory and have the least information about appeals. Teacher qualification has good evaluation. Possibility to participate in international and scientific applied activities doesn‘t have very good evaluation; the least evaluated factor is one describing that college studies are linked to researches. Material environment of the studies has good evaluation. The factor of satisfaction with nourishment conditions got the most critique. Internal study programme quality assurance criterion has good evaluation. The best evaluated factor is relevancy of learning subjects, the worst evaluated – development of critical thinking. Students of the faculty of Technologies value their studies at college and majority of them consider it a suitable choice. Students have a positive approach towards student and teacher communication, satisfied with interaction wit peers; have good opinion about their student colleagues. However one third of respondents admit that the facts of academic dishonesty occur. 3. Statistical analysis shows that Kaunas UAS faculty of Technologies students‘ attitudes towards satisfaction with study quality in fact do not depend on gender, course or study average.
