Be to, pateikiama šių faktorių dvejų metų dinamika.
ENRecently, more and more often teaching/ learning is associated with the learner's adaptation to the assimilated activity as well as learning environment. Different aspects of adaptation have been analyzed. It has been observed that the quality of education largely depends on how quickly and successfully the student enters the college community life and adapts to it. The aim of this work is to find out how the adaptation factors are assessed by the students of the Faculty of Technologies and Landscaping at Kaunokolegija as well as to evaluate the changes that took place. The following objectives were set during the study: 1. To review the scientific references on the adaptation process; 2. To rate the time needed for the adaptation to the changed conditions; 3. To analyze the challenges related to the possibility to achieve good study results and to identify the dynamics of these factors; 4. To identify social-psychological factors that helped to be oriented at Kaunokolegija as well as their dynamics during the last two years. Research methodology. In February, 2014, 308 first year students of FTL were interviewed. The obtained results were compared with the survey results in 2012.The study was performed using a questionnaire survey. Respondents assessed various factors in a five-point scale. SPSS software was used for statistical analysis; statistical procedures of correlative connections were applied. The research results: 1. In the scientific references term adaptation is not unambiguous. Increasingly, there are more discussions on various aspects of the students' adaptation; there is an emphasis on the value of teacher and student cooperation in the learning process. 2. The study showed that the students of Kaunokolegija FTL adapt to a new study environment easily and relatively quickly.Students who live in a dormitory or at their relatives have more adaptation difficulties than students who live with their parents or in their own house. Comparison with the previous survey shows slight elongation of the adaptation period. 3. In the previous study the biggest challenge for the achievement of better learning outcomes identified by the students of FTL was insufficient preparation in secondary school, high workload, excessively high requirements for exams and laziness to learn. In this study they identified laziness to learn, high workload and inconvenient lecture schedule. 4. The comparison of the studies showed that the same characteristics are helpful in the adaptation process: good relationships with peers, self-confidence, and the ability to communicate easily. The most identified social factors that help to adapt in Kaunokolegija were good relationship between teachers and students and the willingness of teachers to cooperate with students.
