LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjami Vilniaus kooperacijos kolegijos studentų studijų pasirinkimo motyvai ir pasitenkinimas studijomis. Remiantis mokslinės literatūros analize ir 2012–2013 bei 2013–2014 m. m. atliktu empiriniu studijų programų pasirinkimo bei pasitenkinimo studijomis tyrimu aptariama, kokie veiksniai labiausiai skatina studentus pasirinkti studijas Vilniaus kooperacijos kolegijoje. ENSuccessful selection of study program and students satisfaction with studies have a significant impact on achieving of good study results and becoming a good specialist for labour market. Students use a big variety of selection criteria choosing a study program. The most frequent mentioned criteria were chosen using an analysis of scientific literature. Determined criteria: reccomendations of friends, interesting and perspective speciality, lack of specialists in choosen field, carrier counselling, attractive study price, reputation of a college, random choice. These criteria were included in the first part of questionnaire. Another part of questionnaire include various factors affecting the satisfaction with studies: a possibility to combine studies, job and family, a possibility to get psychological consultations or support, a possibility to participate in social events and self-expression activities, a possibility to participate in conferences or professional events, a possibility to study and find a place for internship abroad (Erasmus program), innovative methods of study and practical training, a possibility to acquire theoretical knowledge background and actual practical skills. The survey was conducted in Vilnius cooperative college – university of applied sciences in 2 stages: the autumn semester of 2012 year and the spring semester of 2014 year. The aims of the survey: to identify the criteria of study program selection and to determine the main factors of students satisfaction with studies. Students evaluated given criteria using 5 points Likert scale. Results of survey were processed using Microsoft Excel.Students have a good opinion about a possibility to participate in conferences, seminars and other professional events, possibility to participate in Erasmus study and internship programs and possibility to participate in social events and self-expression activities also about a strict reaction of teachers to random cases of academic dishonesty. Their have a middle evaluation for possibility to combine study, job and family. The main criteria for study selection are the interesting, actual and perspective speciality, lack of specialists in chosen study field. [From the publication]
