IS specialistų kompetencijų ir poreikio kaita 2011-2016 m

LTVilniaus kooperacijos kolegija vykdo informatikos inžinerijos krypties studijų programą informacinių sistemų (toliau IS) diegimo ir priežiūros specialistams rengti. Rengiant programą atliktas tyrimas siekiant nustatyti specialistų poreikį bei pageidaujamas kompetencijas. Sparčiai besikeičiant informacinių technologijų (toliau IT) taikymo sritims kilo būtinybė pakartoti tyrimą, palyginti rezultatus, atnaujinti studijų programą. Antrojo tyrimo tikslas: nustatyti IS specialistų poreikio bei kompetencijų kaitą. Tyrime dalyvavo 70 įmonių. Respondentai vertino IS specialistų veiklos sričių svarbą. Straipsnyje nagrinėjami šios apklausos rezultatai, pateikiamos išvados.

ENVilnius Cooperative College conducts a study program „Information systems implementation and support“ in informatics engineering study field. Before starting the program (year 2012) a survey was initiated to determine importance of proposed competences and demand of such specialists. The aims of the survey were as follows: (1) to identify the demand for IS specialists for companies with different profiles, and (2) to determine the areas of knowledge and skills most needed for graduates. According to this survey study program has to pay most attention to such competencies: - implementing and operating the selected IS; - designing processes for IS application in running the business; - analyzing and evaluating company performance; - having team work skills, being able to assess the importance of knowledge, relationships among people, nature and technologies, as well as that of professional responsibility. During study program existence IT companies encountered with new challenges: cloud computing, big data, using of smart devices (BYOD), etc. Committee of study program decided to repeat the survey in order to improve the study program. The aim of the second survey ir to determine changes in demand of graduates and importance of study programme outcomes. The tool of survey – earlier created original questionnaire. Results were collected using survey tool in Google. Methods of survey: literature analysis, collecting of answers using survey tool, analysis of answers using statistical methods.nvitation to participate in the survey was sent to 70 companies, mainly college social partners which create or use information systems. 30 companies answered to given questions. Profile of respondents: mainly small closed joint stock enterprises (<50 employees). About half of them create or implement information systems. Results of the second survey proved the increasing demand (comparing with earlier survey) of information systems specialists. The order of the most important competences has not big changes comparing with previous survey. These competencies are: Ability to implement and support chosen information system, Ability to use advanced information systems of business management, accounting, CRM, e-commerce and supply chain management Ability to design IS application management processes using the principles of software engineering.
