Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama pedagoginės praktikos organizavimo patirtis, problemos, perspektyvos rengiant universitetinių studijų kūno kultūros ir sporto pedagogus. Aptariamos praktikos paskirties ir turinio apibrėžtys nacionaliniuose švietimo dokumentuose ir tarptautinėse direktyvose. Pateikiama Kūno kultūros studijų programos praktikos koncepcija, struktūra, turinio esminės nuostatos, organizavimo etapai. Teorinės įžvalgos, grindžiamos refleksija, įrodo, jog pedagoginė praktika yra reikšminga studijų sudėtinė dalis, atverianti studentui galimybę įgyti praktiniam kūno kultūros ir sporto pedagogo veiklai reikalingos patirties ir kompetencijų.

ENThe article deals with experience, problems of organising pedagogical practical placement as well as perspectives in the training of pedagogues of physical education and sports in university studies. Definitions of the purpose of practical placement and the content set in national documents regulating education as well as international directives are discussed. The conception, structure, essential provisions of the content and stages of organisation of practical placement of the study programme Physical Education are presented. Today it is highly relevant to increase the level of Physical Education students’ professional competence employing various ways, increasing the role of pedagogical practical placement as a necessary condition for transformation of pedagogical consciousness into pedagogical thinking and accumulation of primary pedagogical experience, understanding the reality of the process of comprehensive education, getting acquainted with functions of physical education teachers, their roles, the planning and organising of pupils’ physical (self-)development. These aspects constitute the essence of the scientific problem under analysis; it can be expressed by the following questions: 1) how is the content of the change of pedagogical practical placement expressed; 2) how do innovations related to the change of content and form in pedagogical practical placement impact possibilities for improvement of the study programme? The aim of the research is to reason and reveal the content of innovative activities of organising pedagogical practical placements in the university study programme Physical Education. Theoretical insights grounding reflection prove that pedagogical practical placement is a significant constituent part of studies opening an opportunity for a student to gain experience and competences needed for physical education and sports pedagogue’s work. The essence of pedagogical practical placement of Physical Education study programme is to organise practical placements with regard to the functions of students’ activities, as follow: observer → pedagogue’s assistant → independently working under supervision of a mentor and a tutor. In pedagogical practical placement, student’s role changes, with gradually increasing independence of his/her performance. In each stage of practical placement, a student is posed increasingly more complex aims, obtained knowledge is giving sense, accumulated experience is generalised. The content and learning outcomes to be achieved in the pedagogical practical placement fill in the gap between theory and practice, provide an opportunity to students to find out their own attitudes and beliefs, values, to develop competences necessary for the work with pupils of various ages, having different levels of physical fitness, health condition and diversity of needs related to physical activities.
