ENThis article describes three methods of composition proposed by Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking Project (RWCTP). For better comprehension the schemes of three lessons together with original texts are presented in this article. The selected topics are “The Respiratory System”, “Blood”, and “The Excretory System. Kidneys.” The lessons described in the article are orientated towards the stages of realization of meaning and reflection. The following conclusion is drawn in the article: the value of the discussed methods is that they help to develop communication skills, to concentrate students’ attention, to stimulate their activity and responsibility. The methods also help to learn to point out the essence of the matter, to express one’s opinion in a constructive and reasonable manner, to respect the point of view of an interlocutor, to accept this point of view or deny it.
