Lietuvos moksleivių chemijos olimpiadų svarbiausieji raidos bruožai

ENThe discovery and improvement of creativity of schoolchildren are important in the development today. Especially now, when the renewal of society and education’s reform are going on. Gifted and creative children can develop themselves not only during the lessons in their schools, but also in competitions, olympiads, conferences and championships. Olympiads are on of the organization forms of additional development. The purposes and tasks of chemistry olympiads of schoolchildren in Lithuania, principles of activity, the work’s content and forms are analysed in this article. The analysis of republic and international chemistry olympiads is presented here. It’s noticed, that 40% olympiad winners are just from 2% of Lithuanian schools. The most of chemistry olympiad prize - winners were prepared in schools of Vilnius. Olympiad movement is gradually spreading all over Lithuania. The opinion, that many winners have been prepared by the same teachers prevails. The most gifted schoolchildren and the best teachers of chemistry in Lithuania have achieved the world level. It’s very important to adopt and to spread their experience now. The most winners of republic olympiads choose chemistry studies in higher schools, they are engaged in research, defend their thesis.
