Kai kurie kurso "Aš ir pasaulis" ugdymo aspektai

ENThe considerable schoolchildren's education goes on during lessons. However, these days while reforming the educational system of the Republic of Lithuania some greater importance is being attached to the connection of supplementary education with the teaching subjects in the primary classes. The education activity in the course “Me and the World” in the primary classes is versatile, having close interrelation. In the article only the civic, moral and economic education possibilities are being investigated. The constituent part “Child and social environment” of the World Knowledge Programme requires to raise the respect to everything that surrounds a child: people, society, native country. The child must become a patriot of his/her nation as well as a citizen of his/her State. It is very important to teach the primary schoolchildren to respond sensitively to the problems existing in the modem world. Therefore in the World Knowledge Programme the following goal is indicated: to educate the child's moral relationship with environment, other people and with himself/herself. The world knowledge lessons are rather convenient while striving for the economic schoolchildren's education. There is a great number of topics related to work, improvement importance of science and machinery, possibilities of using the natural resourses.
