Summary / Abstract:

EN1679 3 of 9th and 12th form students took part in the research. The basic research area were the following 4 different regions of Lithuania talking into account their economical, different ethnographic and other conditions: Dzūkija - Suvalkija (from Alytus to Šakiai); Mid-Lithuania (from Kelmė to Joniškis); Pamarys - Žemaitija (from Šilutė to Skuodas); Vilnius city. The research held reveals the relationship between students - evaluation of their state of health and the results of learning: whose teenagers who characterized their health condition as “not very good”, evaluated the results of learning at low grades as well. One of the reasons of this negative phenomenon is overloaded (too difficult) content of learning. This problem pedagogues try to solve by enlarging the amount of homework for students. As the result for the fulfillment of all the tasks requested by teachers 12th form students would have to work at home more than 4 hours per day while 9th grade students 3 or 4 hours per day.
