LTŠiandieninėje visuomenėje pastebimi akivaizdūs pokyčiai politiniu, ekonominiu, demografiniu ir kultūriniu lygmeniu, o vis didesnį aktualumą įgyja socialiniai prieštaravimai visuomenėje. Šiuose procesuose kritiškai svarbi yra socialines paslaugas teikiančių profesionalų atsakomybės problema. Asmens atsakomybės formavimasis pradedamas dar gerokai prieš jam pasirenkant profesiją. Tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti ugdymo(si) veiksnius, darančius įtaką būsimųjų profesionalų atsakomybės formavimuisi. Tyrimui atlikti pasirinkta Mykolo Romerio universiteto Teisės ir policijos veiklos studijų programa. 2011 metais apklausoje dalyvavo 102, o 2015 metais – 109 pirmo kurso studentai. Atliekant tyrimą, taikyti mokslinės literatūros analizės ir statistinės duomenų analizės metodai. Rezultatai parodė, kad didžiausią įtaką būsimųjų profesionalų atsakomybės formavimuisi darė šeima. Analizuojant ankstyvojo ugdymo(si) veiksnių svarbą, antroje vietoje liko savarankiškas ugdymasis, o trečioje – mokykla. Taip pat nustatyta, kad, metams bėgant, didėja universiteto daroma įtaka būsimųjų profesionalų atsakomybės formavimuisi.
ENObvious changes in the political, economic, demographic and cultural level in todays’ society take place and increasing relevance of social contradictions among the members of the community is evident. Subsequently, the issue of responsibility of public service professionals becomes crucial in the aforementioned processes. One of the most important traits of a professional is responsibility. The formation of one’s responsibility begins long before choosing a profession. The following early education(al) factors may be distinguished: family, school and self-education that act as a precondition for shaping character traits and values, such as creativity, sense of duty and responsibility. During the years of school education, each person influencing the orientation of an individual’s social values and contributing to the development of self-consciousness is significant to a student or learner. It is crucial for a future professional to have the traits of social responsibility and obtain a fullyformed function and legal responsibility prior to university studies. The mentioned traits must be nurtured during the entire educational process as an individual has to possess fully-formed social and legal responsibilities. The aim of the research is to highlight crucial education(al) factors that determine the formation of future professionals’ responsibility. In order to achieve the aim, the following objectives were established: 1) to disclose the education(al) factors affecting the process of forming responsibility of future professionals and 2) to analyze the influence of the mentioned factors on the formation of future professionals’ responsibility. The Law and Police Activities study program conducted at Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) was chosen for the purposes of the research.The aforementioned university-based study program educates and fosters future professionals in the area; hence, this particular study program is relevant to the research. 102 different students and 109 first-year students participated in the surveys conducted in 2011 and 2015, respectively. The research methods are as follows: analysis of scientific research addressing the concepts of education(al) factors and statistical analysis of data method addressing the influence of education(al) factors on the formation of future professionals’ responsibility. The data was processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 statistical analysis program. The results of the research show that family and general family environment have the greatest impact on the formation of social and legal responsibility of future professionals. Self-education is rated as the second most important factor in the analysis of early education(al) factors; school came third. It was also established that the role and influence of university in the processes of professionals’ responsibility formation increases over the years.
