Kauno botanikos sodo šiaurinės dalies plėtojimo gairės prabėgus devyniems dešimtmečiams nuo pirmojo plano sudarymo

LTStraipsnyje prisiliečiama prie klasicizmo epochos Aukštosios Fredos dvaro parko, Nepriklausomos Lietuvos laikais pritaikyto botanikos sodo reikmėms. Pateikiama naujų žinių apie kraštovaizdžio architektą Karlą Rautą (Carl Rauth, g. 1871), kuris 1924 m. perplanavo parko takų tinklą pagal Botanikos sodo poreikius. Aprašomas mūsų dienų bandymas sutvarkyti Kauno botanikos sodo erdvę senųjų dvaro rūmų aplinkumoje. K. Rauto siūlymai apie rūmus sukurti dviejų lygių esplanadą, nuo kurios matytųsi stačiakampiai tvenkiniai Šiaurinėje parko dalyje, apsupti augalų kolekcijomis, nebebuvo įgyvendinti. Kaip ir sename sumanyme, parko pakraščiuose siūloma sodinti medžių eiles ir krūmų gyvatvores, tačiau prisitaikyti prie esamo reljefo, nekeisti tvenkinio krantų linijos, taip išsaugant klasicistinį tvenkinį ir vertingus medžius. Atsižvelgiant į Botanikos sodo poreikius, projektuotojai siūlo kurti kiliminių augalų kolekcijas, iš kurių augalai galėtų būti platinami po Lietuvos miestus. ENThe article speaks about Classicism era Upper Freda Manor Park, which was adapted to the needs of the Botanical Garden at a time of the Independent Lithuania. Article provides new knowledge of the landscape architect Carl Rauth, bom in 1871, who redesigned the park path network in accordance with the needs of the Botanical Garden in 1924. The attempts of our day to arrange Kaunas Botanical Garden space in the surroundings of the old manor palace have been described. The proposal of Carl Rauth for a two-level esplanade around the palace, over which rectangular ponds in the northern part of the park could be seen surrounded by plant collections, were newer implemented. As in the old concept, has been proposed to plant tree rows and bush hedges at the edges of the park, but to adjust to the existing terrain, not to change the shoreline of the pond, thus preserving the classicistic pond and valuable trees. Depending on the needs of the Botanical Garden, landscape architects are designing the creation of carpet plant collections from which plants could be outspread to Lithuanian cities.
