ENThe aim of this study was to estimate aerobics and aqua aerobics trainings influence on women’s needs and physical fitness. Examining the data from questionnaires it was found that representatives of both training groups are anticipating active and pleasant leisure time from their chosen activity (both aerobics and aqua aerobics). Women from aqua aerobics have indicated the need of illness prevention, women from aerobics in sport hall group prefer body lines’ refinement. Summing up the changes of physical fitness after 6 months in the group of aerobics in sport hall there were positive changes in the tests of aerobic fitness, abdominal press, arms muscular strength and endurance (p<0,05) and trunk flexibility and shoulder mobility (p>0,05). Aqua aerobics trainings had a positive influence on aerobic fitness (p<0,05), abdominal press, arms muscular strength and endurance, trunk flexibility and shoulder mobility (p>0,05). Aerobics trainings in sport hall had greater positive influence in all measured physical fitness aspects. Significant difference between the compared groups was determined in arms muscular strength and endurance test results (p<0,05).
