ENThe research aims to identify the peculiarities of using interactive whiteboards (IWB) in 5th-6th and 9th-10th forms in Lithuanian general education schools. The research was carried out in the school year of 2013–2014 and the data were obtained from the survey of 25 heads of school, 76 teachers and 116 school learners. The data acquired during the survey allowed to identify the most frequent advantages of using IWB as well as the related problems and impact of this teaching and learning tool.
