ENA wide panorama of metal articles displayed at the exhibition, the variety of techniques of making them and a change in forms of the centuries reveal another large and valuable heritage displayed at the exhibition of the Programme of Lithuania’s Millennium and the Jubilee 200 Years “Christianity in Lithuanian Art”. The article presents the exhibits made of metal that were displayed at the exhibition in brief: articles forged and cast of ferrous and non-ferrous metal. The art of casting in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (bells of the Church of St Catherine), decorative articles of smith’s work (crosses on the graves in Lithuania Minor), attributes of church processions and other metal articles are discussed in brief.
