ENVilma Bobinienė and Ona Mackevičienė in their article analyze the issue of the ways of providing support to children with special needs in preschool institutions and behind their walls. Based on the results of their research, the authors claim that the majority of parents assume that their child does not receive any significant support outside the institution. Some children confine themselves to disability benefit and free-of-change public transport. Almost half the parents raising children with special needs that were questioned claimed that they feel the greatest lack of pedagogical psychological support, one tenth of the parents think they do not lack support. Parents raising children with special needs make particularly rare use of the services of day care centres. [From the publication]
