ENJolita Radikienė and Romas Prakapas claim in their article that the manifestations of aggressive behaviour of children living in foster homes do not depend on the type of the care institution: the pupils from foster homes and specialized boarding schools in many cases share similar manifestations of aggressive behaviour. Children from foster homes tend to envy, tease, boast, swagger against others, shout, chatter too much, they get furious easily and are hot-tempered. The negative behaviour of the pupils from specialized boarding schools manifests itself in disobedience in the group, they use violence against others more often than children from foster homes, they argue, hurt and humiliate others and sometimes they are cruel.
