ENIn this article the role of a class master while bringing up V-IX form rural children is being analyzed. Only children from problematic families in Šalčininkų district were concerned. The goal of the article is to disclose the role of a class master, who is working with V-IX form children from problematic families. AH of the children, who were concerned, study at rural educational institutions in Šalčininkų district. 58 class masters and V-IX forms’ 97 pupils from problematic families took part in the research. The research was carried out at primary and secondary schools of Šalčininkų district villages. The research was carried out with the help of a questionnaire. Some experienced difficulties while working with the children from problematic families were analyzed in this article. A number of pedagogues, for example, L. Laužikas, J. Vabalas-Gudaitis. J. Geniušas, etc. analyzed the requirements for class master in their works. A class master has to get to know a pupil as an individual, a class society - as a social group; he/she has to rule difficult kid personality upbringing processes responsibly. The results of the research have shown that the majority of class masters (87,7 %) have children from problematic families in their class. Teenagers from problematic families always hurt others and do not communicate with them. The children lack love, self-confidence, safety, communication, etc. Class masters working with problematic children usually look for help from other teachers, school management or want to report on them at institutions of law and order.
