LTStraipsnis nagrinėja Edukcinio komiteto, kuris Pirmojo pasaulinio karo metais funkcionavo kaip lenkų švietimo organizacija, veikimą. Straipsnio pradžioje supažindinama su vokiečių švietimo politika, kuri reiškėsi kaip tam tikras okupacinės valdžios tautinės politikos įrankis vokiečių okupuotose teritorijose. Toliau straipsnio autorius koncentruojasi ties Komiteto veikla Vilniaus gubernijos teritorijoje (ir ne tik joje), atkreipdamas dėmesį, pirmiausia, į švietimo organizavimo ir mokyklų funkcionavimo sunkumus. Baigdamas jis aptaria šios veiklos pasiektus rezultatus (nurodo tokio švietimo centrų skaičių bei veiklos kaštus). Straipsnis parengtas naudojant lenkų ir vokiečių archyvinius šaltinius bei šios problematikos literatūrą. ENThe article describes the activities of the Education Committee – a Polish educational organization functioning during World War I in Vilnius. The guidelines of the German educational policy (itself an instrument of national policy in the areas occupied by the Germans) are described at the beginning of the article. In the following part of the analysis, the author focuses on the actions taken by the Committee in the field of education in the province of Vilnius (and elsewhere). Also, he notes the enormity of difficulties related to the organization and functioning of schools. The article ends with presentation of the results of the Committee’s activity (the number of educational institutions run by it, and the costs generated by them). The author utilizes both Polish and German archival sources and literature of the subject. [From the publication]
