Anniwersarium obłóczyn, profesji i konsekracji benedyktynek wileńskich z końca XVII w.: o potrzebie kontynuacji badań prozopograficznych

ENThis is the edition of the register (“Anniwersarz”) of the investitures, vows and consecrations of the Benedictine nuns in Vilnius covering the years 1682–1704 (basically the administration of abbess Franciszka Gałecka), stored in the Manuscript Department (F. 3–243) of the Vilnius University Library. Its information about the Vilnius Benedictine Sisters supplement and correct the information provided in Małgorzata Borkowska’s OSB dictionary (Leksykon zakonnic polskich epoki przedrozbiorowej, vol. 3: Wielkie Księstwo Litewskie i ziemie ruskie Korony Polskiej, Warszawa: Wydawnictwo DIG , 2008). Moreover, this source tells us the complex history of the election of the abbess, presents laudatory verses in her praise, gives information about the consecration of St. Catherine’s church that took place in 1703.
