ENThis is the edition of the Latin passion of the Three martyrs of Vilnius, also known as the Orthodox Saints Anthony, John and Eustathius († c. 1347), that is preserved in the so-called “Manuscript of Metropolitan Leo Kiszka” dating from the first half of the 18th century. This manuscript is kept at the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in L’viv: Фонд №201–опис № 4–од. зб. № 421. A comparative textual analysis of the text has revealed that this passion has no relation to the Roman Catholic redaction of the passion of the same martyrs, published in the Acta Sanctorum (Aprilis tomus secundus). Both of them rely on the text belonging to the East Slavic redaction. The passion published here represents an independent reworking of the basic text by a bookman, who felt at home within both Latin Catholic and Greek Orthodox ecclesiastical and cultural traditions. The textual features have allowed us to characterize this text as representing yet another – Basilian – redaction of the passion, along with South Slavic, East Slavic and Roman Catholic ones.
