Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamas europeizacijos proceso ir Lietuvos partinės sistemos kaitos santykis. Pirma, aptariami pagrindiniai Lietuvos partinės sistemos raidos bruožai 1990-2000 m. laikotarpiu. Antra, analizuojamas rinkimų į Europos Parlamentą vaidmuo ir tolimesni šalies partinės sistemos pokyčiai. Trečia, pristatomos ideologinės politinių partijų charakteristikos, rinkimų kampanijų ypatumai, aiškinama elektorato pasirinkimo balsuojant rinkimuose motyvacija. Darbe daromos išvados, jog sulig 2004 m. rinkimais rinkėjų balsų lakumas išaugo, o Lietuvos partinė sistema tapo dar labiau fragmentuota ir susikaldžiusi, tačiau ES klausimai tam reikšmingos įtakos neturėjo. Europos Parlamento bei 2004 m. Seimo rinkimai patvirtino, jog europeizacijos proceso, kaip perskyras politiniame lauke kuriančio veiksnio, įtaka Lietuvos atveju yra ribota.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Partinė sistema; Europeizacija; EU; Party system; Europeanisation; Europos Sąjunga (European Union).

ENThe article examines the relation between the process of Europeanization and the transformation of the Lithuanian party system. First, the main features of the development of the Lithuanian party system in 1990-2000 are discussed. Second, the role of the European Parliament elections and the further transformation of the country’s party system are analysed. Third, the ideological characteristics of the political parties and the peculiarities of the election campaigns are presented and the reasons behind the electorate’s choices in the elections are clarified. The article concludes that the volatility of the popular vote has increased by 2004 and the party system in Lithuania has become even more fragmented and divided; however, the EU issues did not have a significant impact on this. The 2004 elections to the European Parliament and the parliament confirmed that the influence of the process of Europeanization as a factor creating divisions on the political field is limited in the case of Lithuania.
