ENThe role of the Lithuanian radio and TV on the way to independence was crucial. One of the main important factors was memory and remembrance hidden in the media. The main point is the historical value of broadcasting sources as the sources of the past to see the Lithuanian society in the USA and its effort for independence. Broadcasting as the form of remembering - not just the simple memory of the Lithuanian exiles but as a way to remember their identity, and the role of media was unquestionable. And the problematic breaking point of Lithuanian broadcasting in the USA at the time of Lithuanian regaining independence.
