Summary / Abstract:

ENThe Scientific Problem. Lithuania made no one study to find out of school anxiety indicators to assess students’ stress and fear of school, psychosocial well-being of students and school health factors. However, there is little research made to indicate the first grade parents’ anxiety analysis. Therefore, it can be stated that the Lithuanian authors studied children’s anxiety and difficulties encountered in the first-former, who starts attending school. Despite everyone knows that preparing the child for the first grade parents face extreme anxiety, the focus still lies on the child. Analysis of scientific literature encouraged to carry out a study with the object focused on the first grade parents’ anxiety. Similar studies have failed to be found. Authors of the article, in order to fill this gap, conducted a study with the objective – set of parents worrying issue of children in the first grade. Summarizing the results of the investigation showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between parents’ anxiety, release children to school, and emotional satisfaction with their former school. The more parents meet their former school, the less they worried about allowing children to first grade. Differences between parents (mothers and fathers) revealed – mothers tend to evaluate children’s anxiety before school higher scores than fathers do. It revealed a statistically significant difference between the first and the next child to the school allowing parents anxiety – strongly worried about parents who allow a child to school for the first. Parents are seeing a greater disposition of the child to go to school; the child predicts greater success in school and improve children’s readiness. The research aim is to reveal the anxiety of parents that they have about their children intending to go to the first class. Objectives of the study: 1.
