Summary / Abstract:

ENThis article discusses the issues of resettling the Polish people from the territories annexed by the Soviet Union after 1945 onto the territories of the western and northern Poland. The author presents the shaping of the Polish church administration in those areas and indicates distinctive aspects of spirituality and rituals of Polish people coming from Borderlands. Those aspects can still be seen nowadays in the rituals and mentality of the inhabitants of the western provinces of Poland.
