LTRemiantis poeto ir mokytojo S. Anglickio gyvenimu ir veikla bei tarpukario ir sovietinės okupacijos laikotarpiui būdingomis dvasingumo raiškos galimybėmis aptariamas asmenybės sklaidos kontekstas. Nagrinėjant poeto kūrybos ir pedagoginės veiklos rezultatus bei aplinkybes atskleidžiama intelektinė rezistencija. Ypač autoritarinės kultūros aplinkoje tai individualios elgsenos konteksto dvasingumui būdingas reiškinys. Ugdymo tikrovėje tokia rezistencija išryškinta vertinant subjektų koreguojamų ugdymo dvasingumo kontekstų ir ugdymo dvasingumų. Šiais reiškiniais konkretinama asmens ir aplinkos dvasingumo sankirta ir žmogaus prasmingo gyvenimo kontekstas.
ENThe aim is to reveal the context of a persons purposeful life in the modern situation. The attainment of the aim rests upon the analysis of the context of S. Anglickis' creation and pedagogical activity, as well as interpretation of the significance of his activity and its results. The analysis of spirituality characteristic of interwar and Soviet occupation periods discloses the conception of human values and their implementation. Education of the interwar period marked by national values (religion, respect for traditions, honesty, etc) is changed by education propagating communist ideology of the Soviet period, which aims at levelling nations, destroying their historical traditions, advocating ideas of atheism and others. Pursuing to implement it, correspondent methods of forming (developing) a personality are applied, unconditional obedience of teachers is demanded while advocating the ideas and accomplishing the pre-planned functions of a developer of a personality (rather than promoter of dissemination). Analysis of S. Anglickis' creation and motives of activity demonstrates that an educated person, maturing in the democratic environment, could not conciliate with the situation and naturally searched for a different and more purposeful life by assessing the new (Soviet) environment. Exploration of the properties and changes of social environment, as well as personal relationships help to reveal a particular phenomenon and component of the reality, namely the context (environment personally signified by an individual).It is marked by a peculiar space, spirituality and significance for personal spread. The distinctive life of S. Anglickis is noticeable for his creation and pedagogical activity. Abundant literary heritage of the poet reveals his rich spiritual world; his spread of nationality is based on educational and pedagogical activity and confirms his attitude to the purport of life. This helps to identify the individual context, which determines the sapidity of the activity and significance of its results. The existence and significance of this context are confirmed by the intellectual resistance, which adjusted the motives of S. Anglickis' poetry and pedagogical activity. The research demonstrated that the role of the context is of top significance for a teacher as a subject of education. All these facts verify that the spiritual strength and purpose of life of a human are the guidelines of the development of his/her personality and the society in general. In this process, the context and its spirituality are revealed as phenomena of education, components and factors of educational reality encouraging learners to clear out the purport of own life. This is characteristic of education based on the spread of spirituality. The analysis of the purport of literary works and pedagogy confirms that purposeful life depends on the context of human activity and its spirituality. Therefore, the surrounding environment and life challenges can adjust the limits of activity, but they cannot determine the purport of life.
