Summary / Abstract:

ENA number of sources daim that teaching children with special needs (SEM children) is one of the most important tasks in our educational system. They presume that sincere and spontaneous activities help such children to find their field of activities, to balance their life from the socio-cultural point of view. Bob Dylan devoted his song “Changing Times” to special education, the history of which is full of contradictions and changes. It is because of those contradictions and changes that SEN children education and acquaintance with them has become so directly moving and tendential. The following tendencies exist: to integrate SEN children into society in the most favourable way; to pay greater attention to early intervention; to seek for the outlined accomplished working programs for the transitional post-school period starting independent life. It is essential that music should act as a guide through other studied subjects in socio-cultural integration. This would help a pupil to adapt in the socium, in which he lives and studies.
