ENThe theoretical model of changes in moral education in educational and Church documents is analysed in the article. Changes in the programs and textbooks of the catholic religion and ethics, the importance and the purpose of moral education in comprehensive school and standard dispersion possibilities are reviewed. Moral education helps to train pupils’ moral attitudes and form an adequate value system. The success of moral education as a subject is determined not only by a proper understending of the subject itself but also by the public opinion, the parents, competention among teachers and so on. Changes show the ability of the mentioned discipline to adapt to a constantly changing educational system.
