ENLatvia is the only country in the world where Lithuanians by their number take the sixth place after the Latvians, Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians and Poles. However, there are even 10 Latvian regions where Lithuanians after the Latvians are in majority. In 2011, in Kurzeme and Zemgale lived 13,607 Lithuanians, i.e. more than in 10 other countries around the world. In Latvia there should be restored Lithuanian cultural centers – Lithuanian schools, churches with Lithuanian services, museums, etc.
