Summary / Abstract:

ENIn a world that changes in various aspects creativity is valued more and more, the ability to think independently, create original ideas, unconventionally solve the occurring problems. It is taught that these qualities will become even more valuable in the future: more and more intellectual operations are taken over by machines, but creativity has never been programmed. Even though creativity is a process, that started to be intensively researched a few decades ago, still no one agrees on a qualitative evaluation of it, which is undoubtedly linked not only to the abilities of the person but also with gradual development of creativity. The unsolved problem of creativity evaluation is a clear disturbance when it comes to creativity’ research, that‘s why the problematic question of this article is: on what criteria can creativity be measured. The object of the research - creativity evaluation. Aim of the research is to set the creativity evaluation criteria. To achieve the goal, scientific literature analysis, expert interview and modeling methods were used. 8 experts took part in the research. They were humanitarian and social sciences’ representatives. Creativity is interpreted in three ways: as a quality of an individual, process and the result of creation. Creativity is defined as making new ideas, flexible and free thinking, non-standard problem solutions, and creation of something new, seeing new opportunities and being open to change. A creative personality is enthusiastic, loves their own environment and their work, is courageous, always searching, strives for adventures and is ambitious. The problematic of setting the creativity criteria is decided on by the lack of creativity object, the variety of creativity development methods. These creativity evaluation criteria are set to originality, flexibility, fluency, innovation, insight, intuition, special knowledge, abilities and skills, tolerance, openness, general knowledge, individualism, elaboration, sensitivity from problems, motivation and imagination.
